I am a graphic designer originally from Austin, TX, currently living in Houston and looking for work wherever it might be offered. "Wherever?" you might ask—Austin? Sure. Houston? Affirmative. Seattle? Absolutely. Kyoto? Hai!

When it comes to design and visual inspiration, the shiny-objects to my crow-like tendencies are Saul Steinberg, anything Art Deco, Isamu Noguchi, Remedios Varo, Yoshitomo Nara, Sheila Levrant de Bretteville and my half-Japanese mother who can make, literally, anything. Just ask.

About my work

My design philosophy—simple is better. But sometimes I go nuts and fill an entire page with monsters and fish with crazy underbites. And sometimes it works. My clients span the public and private sectors and include several different industries. I enjoy project work for non-profits and like to get behind a cause but wouldn't balk if Chanel or Apple asked me to work in-house.

Randomness

I'm easy to talk to. I left my heart in San Francisco and firmly believe that anyone who has visited has automatically left theirs, too. I've been told that at certain angles I resemble Link from Zelda. I never really played video games growing up, so I'm not sure I can appreciate that reference fully. My musical inclinations range from Propaghandi to Mozart to TRS-80. I have a dachshund who consistently stands on only three of her four legs. The other leg is busy pointing at that which she wants to lick, eat, gnaw on, or destroy.
